The popular die-cast toy series 'METAL BUILD', released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, showcased the latest prototype of "God Gundam" from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam" at today's series exhibition 'METAL BUILD FESTIVAL 2024 WITH CLUB TAMASHII MEMBERS'. The release date is yet to be determined.

GF13-017NJII God Gundam is the latest cutting-edge Mobile Fighter (MF) independently developed by Dr. Mikamura. As the successor to protagonist Domon Kasshu's previous machine, many of its performance capabilities and armament features are similar to and further enhanced from the earlier "Shining Gundam". The unit is equipped with an "Energy Multiplier System" that converts Domon's ki into energy. When "Super Mode" is activated, overall performance is significantly boosted, and the six radiator fins on its back form a halo, granting the unit a magnetic coating, allowing it to unleash the incredibly passionate special move "Bakunetsu God Finger".

The "METAL BUILD God Gundam" product design is handled by the team of Yoichi Sakamoto, Koma, Hiroyuki Hirose, and Masahiro Ishikawa, who previously designed popular MB products from "SEED" such as Strike Freedom Gundam and Freedom Gundam 2.0. Additionally, Yasuhiro Imagawa, the anime director of "Mobile Fighter G Gundam", has been invited to serve as the chief supervisor. The exhibited prototype showcases intricate and rich original detailed sculpting, cool armor contours, and proportions. Notably, the movable wrist design allows for recreating the crossed-arms pose, leading to anticipation that this product might emphasize articulation, enabling dynamic combat poses.
