Threezero, the renowned Hong Kong-based collectible figure brand, under its new robot alloy action figure series "ROBO-DOU" (ロボ道), has once again announced its latest product, the "ROBO-DOU Evangelion Production Model-02 (Metallic Color Version)", following the release of the popular "EVANGELION Unit-02" from "Rebuild of Evangelion". The suggested retail price is 1,270 RMB, with an estimated release in Q4 2024!
Threezero launched the "ROBO-DOU" alloy action figure series in 2019, themed around Japanese anime robots, combining composite materials such as die-cast zinc alloy, ABS, and POM, to create a new generation of lightweight, scaled robot characters. Its precise mechanical design, intricate paintwork, and high posability not only enhance the collectible quality but also improve the tactile experience during play, aiming to redefine robot action figures.
The "ROBO-DOU Evangelion Production Model-02 (Metallic Color Version)", limited to 2000 units worldwide, makes its reappearance with an all-new metallic color coating! Standing approximately 25 cm (9.8 inches) tall, similar to the previously released version, the main frame utilizes die-cast zinc alloy and features 48 points of articulation. The intricate painting technique highlights all the mechanical details of the unit, creating a heavy metallic texture, giving it a more substantial presence. It incorporates multiple precise mechanical designs and can be paired with a rich array of EVA-specific weaponry, such as the Thunder Spear and the EVA-exclusive Electromagnetic Bowgun, allowing fans to fully enjoy its cool battle poses!
