World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys recently launched two new products based on the classic animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," a spin-off of "Star Wars"—the "ARC Trooper Fives" and "ARC Trooper Echo" 1/6th scale collectible figures. Both are priced at US$275 and are expected to be released in Q2-Q3 2025!
Clone Trooper CT-27-5555 was nicknamed "Fives" by his comrades due to the consecutive fives in his designation, while "Echo" was sarcastically nicknamed by his clone brothers for strictly adhering to and often repeating orders. The two trained together on Kamino with Domino Squad and were later deployed together to the listening post on Rishi Moon. After enduring a Separatist attack, they were both assigned to the 501st Legion and, after successfully defending Kamino, were promoted together to ARC Troopers.
These two products are based on the Phase II armor designs of the two clone troopers from the series, featuring fabric to recreate the kama skirts on both sides of the ARC Troopers, and leather-like fabric for their black and blue pauldrons, respectively. The helmets and armor details are meticulously developed and sculpted, reproducing unique markings and weathering effects such as the red dot on Fives' helmet and the handprint on Echo's armor. Both figures also come with an interchangeable head sculpt, finely capturing the facial features of actor Temuera Morrison, and reproducing Fives' iconic "5" tattoo on his right forehead!
For accessories, both figures include multiple interchangeable hands, a jetpack, a tactical backpack, magnetic goggles, and two blaster pistols as basic equipment. For heavy weaponry, Fives comes with a rocket launcher and a blaster rifle, while Echo is equipped with a blaster carbine. This powerful arsenal allows for dynamic poses showcasing their heroic combat stances!
