Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY previously unveiled a popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" themed product at "Smile Fest 2024" – the "Frieren ~Magic of Twilight~" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. Today (09), its release information has been officially announced, with a suggested retail price of 19,800 JPY, and an estimated release in June 2025!
"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" tells the story of Frieren, an elf protagonist with an exceptionally long lifespan. In the past, she and the hero Himmel's party defeated the Demon King. However, it was only after Himmel's passing that she gradually came to understand the fleeting yet brilliant nature of human life. To better comprehend human emotions, Frieren embarks on a journey of self-discovery with the disciples of two of her former comrades.
This "Frieren ~Magic of Twilight~" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 21.5 cm tall. It depicts Frieren standing by a wall, looking back as if reminiscing about her departed friends. Various details such as the magic staff in her hand, the suitcase on the ground, and her costume design are faithfully recreated. The flowing dynamics of her hair and skirt further enhance the overall beautiful yet slightly melancholic atmosphere, as if extending her thoughts.
