Issued by Bandai Co., Ltd.'s Gashapon division, the "Wanpi no Mi (One Piece no Mi)" gashapon series, highly praised by Eiichiro Oda himself, will release an online-exclusive set in late December 2024: "Egghead Collection Vol. 2" (エッグヘッドコレクション第二弾)! There are 4 types to collect, with a suggested retail price of 500 JPY per capsule.
The "One Piece no Mi" series is characterized by its gashapon capsules designed as various colored Devil Fruits, reinterpreting characters in a palm-sized, chibi proportion. The Devil Fruit shells can also be freely disassembled and combined, offering excellent display versatility; even small figures become quite impressive when accumulated!
Following the first volume, which featured Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Franky from the "Egghead Arc," this second volume includes "Zoro," "Nico Robin," "Jinbe," and "Brook." Not only are they reinterpreted in a low-head-to-body ratio at approximately 4.5 cm tall, but the characters' expressions and the intricate details of their special Egghead Arc costumes are also meticulously crafted, including Zoro's three swords on his back, Robin's striking outfit, and Brook's highly distinctive head... they are truly adorable!
To collect all the Straw Hat Pirates' Egghead Arc outfits, in addition to the Egghead Collection Vol. 1 and this Vol. 2, Luffy is included in the Seventeenth Naval Battle set, while Chopper will only be featured in "One Piece no Mi Animals 03." They certainly know how to make (evil) money!
