Bushiroad Creative, the anime and manga merchandise publisher under Japan's Bushiroad Inc. (BR Co.), has announced a new product from its "PalVerse" brand! This new release is the "PalVerse Chainsaw Man" mini figure blind box, based on the popular anime and manga series "Chainsaw Man." The suggested retail price is 1,100 JPY per box, with an anticipated release date of December 13, 2024!
"Chainsaw Man" (チェンソーマン) is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto, serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" starting in 2018. In 2022, it was adapted into a TV anime series by MAPPA. The story is set in the late 1990s, a world filled with various devils born from human fears. Denji, an impoverished young man, partners with the Chainsaw Devil Pochita to hunt devils to pay off his debts and make a living. After being ambushed during a mission, Pochita forms a contract with the dying Denji by merging with his heart, allowing Denji to be reborn and gain the power to transform into the Chainsaw Devil.
This "PalVerse Chainsaw Man" mini figure blind box features several popular characters from the series, rendered in the adorable 3-head-tall PalVerse figure proportion. The collection includes six types: Denji, Chainsaw Man, Aki Hayakawa, Power, Makima, and Katana Man. Even with their chibi designs, each character model boasts incredibly lively poses, thoughtfully designed to reflect each character's personality and abilities from the series. With a height of approximately 9 cm per figure, collectors can easily display them!
