Bandai's GASHAPON division, under its "Narabun desu." (Lining Up) series, has collaborated with HOKTO Corporation to launch a new product – the "HOKUTO Kinoko-gumi Narabun desu. Character Figures" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, with an anticipated release in the fourth week of July 2024!
HOKTO Corporation is renowned for its unique mushroom cultivation technology. Many toy enthusiasts are likely familiar with HOKTO's adorable cartoon-style TV commercial that debuted in Taiwan in 2009, especially the memorable tagline at the end: "Top-notch Japanese mushrooms, HOKUTO!"
This Gashapon series brings to life the five mushroom characters that appeared in that commercial: King Oyster Mushroom, Maitake Mushroom, Shimeji Mushroom, Enoki Mushroom, and Hokuto-kun (ホクトくん), who represents the HOKUTO logo and asks, "Huh, who are you?" The figures faithfully recreate the characters' step-by-step walking poses from the animation. Collecting all of them allows you to recreate the adorable scene from the commercial where they line up and walk forward!
