Following the previous release of "Izuku Midoriya" by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., under their S.H.Figuarts action figure brand, yesterday (20th) announced the commercialization of another key character from the popular anime My Hero Academia, "Katsuki Bakugo"!
My Hero Academia is a superhero-themed manga by Kohei Horikoshi, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump since 2014. In 2016, it was adapted into a TV anime by animation studio BONES. The story is set in an era where everyone possesses a superpower called a "Quirk," and the extraordinary has become commonplace. It follows Izuku Midoriya, a Quirkless hero fan, as he attempts to enroll in the top hero academy, U.A. High, to become the greatest hero. Shortly after the seventh season of the anime premiered in June 2024, the official announcement was made that the manga would conclude on August 5th, which saddened many fans, who also expressed gratitude for Horikoshi-sensei's decade of tireless, heroic effort.
Following the announcement of the protagonist "Izuku Midoriya"'s commercialization three weeks ago, the next character to appear is Bakugo, who can be considered the second protagonist!
