TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest Ultraman product in its popular 'S.H.Figuarts' action figure series, "Ultraman Zero (ULTRAMAN NEW GENERATION STARS Ver.)", slated for release in December 2024.
Highly popular among the New Generation Ultraman series, "Ultraman Zero" is the son of Ultraseven. As a warrior, he possesses exceptional qualities and is known as the strongest young warrior in the Land of Light. However, in his youth, he overconfidently sought greater power, approaching the core of the "Plasma Spark Tower" and breaking a taboo. Under the guise of "exile", he left the Land of Light, but was actually taken by his father to the frontier planet K76, where he was entrusted to Ultraman Leo and Astra for rigorous training of mind, body, and spirit. When the fallen Ultraman Belial escaped prison and caused a crisis, Zero, having matured in both mind and body, returned to the Land of Light as a warrior, utilizing his hard-earned powerful combat skills to successfully repel Belial.
The "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Zero (ULTRAMAN NEW GENERATION STARS Ver.)" is a modified version based on the previously released standard edition. The main body reuses existing parts and is once again produced in cooperation with Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department. It faithfully recreates the character's appearance from the show with precise sculpting and color application, and features flexible articulation, allowing fans to recreate his cool battle poses from the series.
However, the accessory content has been significantly changed compared to previous versions. It now includes 3 types of interchangeable left hands, 5 types of right hands, an interchangeable red Color Timer, effect parts for his signature beam attack "Zero Twin Shoot", and accessories from previous versions such as the Zero Sluggers and Zero Twin Sword.
