TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., recently announced the latest Ultraman product, "Ultraman Geed Primitive Form (ULTRAMAN NEW GENERATION STARS Ver.)," from their popular S.H.Figuarts action figure series, scheduled for release in February 2025.
The protagonist of "Ultraman Geed," Riku Asakura, is the genetic successor of the evil Ultraman Belial, who was banished from the Land of Light. Belial's subordinates used artificial life technology to create this infant and sent him to Earth for foster care. It wasn't until he gained the ability to transform into Ultraman Geed at age 19 that he finally learned of his true origins. Although his inherited appearance from his father looks evil, he still fights for universal peace as a member of the Land of Light's New Generation Warriors. By using capsules containing Ultraman power, he can transform into various forms.
Appearing under the name of a new version, the "S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Geed Primitive Form (ULTRAMAN NEW GENERATION STARS Ver.)" is essentially the same as the version released in 2018. The main body was produced with the cooperation of Tsuburaya Productions' LSS modeling department, faithfully reproducing the in-show appearance with precise sculpting and color application. It also features flexible articulation design, allowing for dynamic battle poses from the series. Accessories include 4 types of interchangeable hands for both left and right, an interchangeable red Color Timer, and effect parts for his beam finisher, "Wrecking Burst."
