Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero's 'FigZero' 1/6 scale articulated figure series, which features characters from American, Japanese anime, and tokusatsu, has announced a new product based on the popular anime 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' – the 'Tanjiro Kamado' 1/6 scale articulated figure, slated for release in the first quarter of 2025!
'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' is a manga series by Koyoharu Gotouge, serialized in 'Weekly Shonen Jump' from 2016 to 2020. In April 2019, ufotable adapted it into a TV anime, which became a phenomenal hit during the 2020 pandemic. The official announcement earlier this month (July) revealed that the final arc of the series, 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Arc,' will be released as three theatrical films in the future!
This FigZero Tanjiro Kamado stands approximately 27.5 cm tall, meticulously recreating Tanjiro's appearance from the series. The Demon Slayer Corps uniform and Tanjiro's iconic green and black checkered haori are tailored from fabric, with hidden wires along the edges. This allows for dynamic posing in conjunction with the figure's 37 points of articulation, enabling the clothing to be bent and shaped as desired. Accessories include three interchangeable face plates, six sets of interchangeable hands, a die-cast Nichirin Blade, a small knife, and a wooden box for Nezuko. Furthermore, it comes with magnetic Water Breathing effect parts that can attach to the die-cast Nichirin Blade, recreating Tanjiro's combat visuals!
