Japanese company BellFine, which has released numerous video game and anime character products, will launch a plastic model kit of the protagonist robot "Goshogun" (ゴーショーグン) from the classic 80s robot anime 《Sengoku Majin Goshogun》 (戦国魔神ゴーショーグン) in October 2024! The price will be 8,140 JPY (tax included).
Fans of the game 《Super Robot Wars》 will undoubtedly be familiar with 《Sengoku Majin Goshogun》. This work was produced by the Japanese animation studio "Ashi Production" (now known as PRODUCTION REED) and first aired on TV Tokyo in Japan in July 1981. In Taiwan, CTS broadcast it in 1986 under the name "Cosmic King". It is a work with a story style different from traditional mainstream robot anime.
The story primarily describes the mysterious organization "Dokuga" (ドクーガ) constantly causing disasters worldwide for profit, and setting its sights on the mysterious energy Bimler (ビムラー), attempting to seize it for themselves. The giant fortress "Good Thunder" (グッドサンダー), led by Sabaras, recruits Shingo Hojo, Killy, and Remy as pilots for the giant robot "Goshogun". To protect their side, they begin to fight against Dokuga and its executives, thus unfolding the story.

This Sengoku Majin Goshogun plastic model kit from BellFine stands approximately 18 cm tall and consists of about 280 parts. The individual parts and color separation are very precise, allowing for an excellent appearance with basic assembly, faithfully reproducing Goshogun's original design colors and detailed settings. The shoulder joints in the upper body can be extended, allowing for poses such as raising both arms or holding a sword without issue. The joints in the abdomen and hip area are also specially designed for high articulation, enabling a variety of powerful and dynamic poses. Regarding weapons, Goshogun's standard armaments such as the saber, battle axe, and cosmic bazooka are all included, along with interchangeable hand parts. The ultimate attack, "Go Flasher" (ゴーフラッシャー), launched from the back, is also represented with clear parts that can be attached piece by piece to the back, giving it a very impressive overall look.
