The popular alloy toy series 'Soul of Chogokin', released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., officially announced today the commercialization of a new product, 'Ryukoh-Oh', from "Super Robot Wars OG". At the same time, a prototype under development was also unveiled at the 'Ani-com & Games Hong Kong 2024' exhibition.
Appearing in the game, the RyuOhki and KohOhki are semi-biological weapons developed by ancient Chinese people to combat demons and gods of destruction, based on the imagery of the Four Sacred Beasts. They possess autonomous thought circuits akin to souls. When excavated, they had lost most of their functions, thus they were repaired using parts from the Grungust Type-3. The two machines can combine in different ways, forming 'Ryukoh-Oh', which excels in aerial and aquatic combat and can cast long-range spells, and 'KohryuOh', which possesses extremely high mobility and can perform high-speed close-range martial arts.
Although the currently displayed 'Soul of Chogokin Ryukoh-Oh' prototype only features rough sculpting and coloring, the RyuOhki and KohOhki sections are distinctly color-separated, hinting that this product will feature a transformation and combination mechanism. However, the size difference between the two machines before and after combination is quite significant in the original setting, so it remains to be seen how the final product will achieve this!
