Following the previous "Nami" and "Luffy," TAMASHII NATIONS' action figure brand "S.H.Figuarts," part of BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division in Japan, has once again announced a new product based on the popular shonen manga "One Piece"'s introductory East Blue Arc: the "Roronoa Zoro - Dawn of Adventure" action figure. It will retail for 7,700 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2025!
"Pirate Hunter" Roronoa Zoro (ロロノア・ゾロ) agreed to be tied up in the Marine base plaza for a month by Captain Morgan's son Helmeppo to save a girl in a tavern in Shells Town. He was later rescued by Luffy, and after they worked together to defeat Captain Morgan, who controlled the town, Zoro accepted Luffy's invitation and became the first member of the Straw Hat Pirates. Although Zoro is directionally challenged and a bit air-headed, he always offers strong opinions when the crew faces major disagreements and often steps forward when the captain is in danger, making him the incredibly reliable second-in-command of the Straw Hat Pirates!
This "Roronoa Zoro - Dawn of Adventure" figure stands approximately 15 cm tall and is crafted in Zoro's classic East Blue Arc appearance. It meticulously captures the Pirate Hunter's lean muscle lines, green sash, and the wrinkle details on his pants. Accessories include three sets of interchangeable hands and two head sculpts: one with a bandana and one without. Both head sculpts come with two interchangeable face plates each. The bandana-wearing head sculpt includes an expression that allows him to bite a sword hilt. Combined with the "Wado Ichimonji" sword, which Zoro received from his master Koushirou after Kuina's death, and the other two swords that were later broken in his battle with Mihawk, you can pose him in his iconic Three-Sword Style!
Additionally, this release will also include a hypnotized face plate accessory for Luffy, depicting him under Jango's hypnosis during his battle with the Black Cat Pirates in Syrup Village, allowing you to recreate scenes from their subsequent adventures!
