After the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku tragically lost his life in the battle against Akaza during the "Mugen Train Arc," when Tanjiro visited the Rengoku household to convey his elder brother's last words, his younger brother Senjuro Rengoku gifted Tanjiro his brother's Nichirin Blade handguard, hoping it would serve as a protective charm for Tanjiro's safety. This "Tanjiro's New Nichirin Blade" is a 1:1 three-dimensional rendition of the new Nichirin Blade design, now equipped with the flame-shaped handguard. From the currently released images, it appears to be a combination based on the two previously released Nichirin Blades for Tanjiro and the Flame Hashira, meticulously recreating the design of the elder brother's handguard integrated with Tanjiro's Nichirin Blade.
