Bandai Candy, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced that the latest and final tenth installment of the popular Kamen Rider action figure Shokugan series, "SHODO XX Kamen Rider 10," is scheduled for release in January 2025.
"SHODO XX (DOUBLE CROSS)" features enhanced sculpting and articulation compared to previous series, utilizing numerous new parts to refine the designs of each Kamen Rider and redesigning the movable joints to expand the range of motion, faithfully reproducing the cool suits and classic actions from the show. Additionally, an "Expansion Parts Set" containing various weapons and equipment is released, allowing for the recreation of cool combat moves with each Rider.
This time, "SHODO XX Kamen Rider 10" utilizes some parts from SHODO VS and SHODO-X along with a majority of new parts to create three classic Riders from the original "Kamen Rider" series: "Old Ichigo," "Old Nigo," and "Old Ichigo (Sakurajima Ver.)." All three feature completely new head sculpts and re-adjusted colors. They can be combined with the kick effect parts from the Expansion Parts Set to recreate the signature "Rider Kick" special move.
1. Kamen Rider Old Ichigo
2. Kamen Rider Old Nigo
3. Kamen Rider Old Ichigo (Sakurajima Ver.)
The other three figures are from "Kamen Rider OOO": Kamen Rider OOO's "Whale Eel Octopus Aquatic Combo," "Wing Horn Tyrant Dinosaur Combo," and the aquatic Greeed monster "MEZOOL." All three boast intricate sculpting and color applications. They can be combined with the Expansion Parts Set to recreate the Aquatic Combo's "Eel Whip," the Dinosaur Combo's "Released State" with expanded wings and tail, and the "Medagabryu" weapon in both Axe Mode and Cannon Mode.
