SEGA Prize, a popular series from Japan's SEGA Games, will release a new product titled "Yuta Okkotsu Black Flash" under its "Luminasta" line. This figure is based on the 2021 MAPPA-produced film "Jujutsu Kaisen 0 The Movie" and is scheduled to be released as a prize item in late October 2024!
"Jujutsu Kaisen 0 The Movie" is an adaptation of Gege Akutami's manga "Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School," which also serves as a prequel to the popular series "Jujutsu Kaisen." It tells the story of Yuta Okkotsu, who is haunted by the Special Grade Cursed Spirit Rika Orimoto, his childhood friend. After accidentally injuring his bullies, Yuta is sentenced to death by the Jujutsu world. With the help of Satoru Gojo, his execution is suspended, and he becomes a student at Jujutsu High.
This "Yuta Okkotsu Black Flash" figure captures a scene from the latter half of the movie, where Yuta confronts Suguru Geto, who has invaded Jujutsu High. It meticulously portrays his dynamic forward punching motion and the intricate details of his clothing wrinkles. The shattered rock base recreates the tension displayed during the attack in the film, while the red and black "Black Flash" effect is cleverly connected to the base, maintaining a slight distance from the fist itself, showcasing the immense power of the Black Flash and faithfully recreating the thrilling moment he powerfully sends Geto flying!
