World-renowned Hong Kong toy brand Hot Toys today (20th) announced its latest product from "Batman Returns": the "Batman" 1/6th scale collectible figure! Both a regular version and a deluxe version will be released simultaneously, and this article will provide information on the regular version.
This 1/6th scale Keaton-version Batman, redesigned with modern production techniques based on the "Batman Returns" setting, stands approximately 30 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation throughout the body. In addition to meticulously recreating the texture of the Batsuit, the utility belt, and the leather-textured cape, the masked head sculpt, which faithfully captures Michael Keaton's likeness from that era, can be paired with three interchangeable lower face parts, and with articulated eyeballs, it can reproduce a wide range of expressions! Of course, Michael Keaton's classic pouty lips are also faithfully recreated. Furthermore, the Batsuit can be combined with an additional fully spread cape to recreate the gliding scenes from the film, further enhancing its versatility.
Other accessories include a dual-headed rope launcher, a grappling hook gun, Batarangs, napalm capsules (tentative translation) used in the fight with Catwoman, a rocket launcher controller, a Batmobile controller, and multiple interchangeable hands. The display base also features the "Batman Returns" logo printed on it, making it an absolutely awesome Batman collectible that old-school toy enthusiasts won't be able to resist.
