TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced a new product in its "Figuarts ZERO" character figure series, specifically from the "EXTRA BATTLE" sub-series which combines dynamic character poses with elaborate effect parts. The new item is the "Nami -Thunder-" pre-painted figure, based on the popular anime and manga series One Piece. It has a suggested retail price of 11,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in March 2025!
Initially, Nami, as the crew's navigator, did not possess strong combat abilities. However, her fighting prowess significantly improved after Usopp crafted the Clima-Tact for her. Following guidance from the weather scientists on Weatheria, it was upgraded to the "Sorcery Clima-Tact." The weather eggs generated from the Sorcery Clima-Tact later allowed her to capture Zeus, Big Mom's cheerful companion, during the Whole Cake Island Arc.
This "Nami -Thunder-" pre-painted figure stands approximately 17 cm tall and is sculpted to depict Nami as she unleashes "Thunder" by releasing Zeus during the Egghead Arc. The design faithfully recreates her futuristic attire worn on Egghead Island, capturing her slender, long, and voluptuous figure in a dynamic running pose. The Sorcery Clima-Tact in her hand is painted to replicate a metallic texture, complemented by the translucent Zeus black cloud base that extends around her and lightning effects, recreating the attack scene from the series!
