Aoshima Bunka Kyozai Co., Ltd.'s model kit brand ACKS officially announced the latest work from the anime "Super Beast Machine God Dancouga", the developing prototype of "1/144 Super Beast Machine God Dancouga + Dancouga Sword Expansion Parts Set", at the "62nd All Japan Model & Hobby Show". It is scheduled for release within 2025.
In the story, Dr. Hazuki secretly developed four super weapons, the "Beast Machines," to counter the invasion of an alien empire from another dimension. He recruited four young individuals, including Shinobu Fujiwara, from the officer academy to serve as pilots. The four Beast Machines are powerful weapons capable of three-stage transformation: normal mode, beast mode, and robot mode. They can further combine into the giant robot "Dancouga" to unleash maximum combat power. By sensing the pilots' mental energy, Dancouga gains unfathomable power, but this also places a tremendous burden on their minds and bodies.
The "ACKS Super Beast Machine God Dancouga + Dancouga Sword Expansion Parts Set" is produced in a 1/144 scale with a total height of approximately 24 cm. Its overall design is closer to the Enhanced Modified Dancouga, which was revamped by mechanical designer Koichi Ohata in the OVA "GOD BLESS DANCOUGA". It faithfully reproduces the refined and cool silhouette of the machine and includes the specially shaped "Dancouga Sword" with a wide hilt and narrow blade, allowing for cool sword-wielding poses.
