From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, the 'METAL ROBOT Damashii' series, which combines metallic texture painting and an alloy frame, today announced that two popular mobile suits from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY", the "Strike Freedom Gundam" and "Destiny Gundam", will be released in [Re:Coordinate] color refreshed versions. Release date is yet to be determined.
The METAL ROBOT Damashii "Strike Freedom Gundam" and "Destiny Gundam" were previously released in March 2018 and May 2019 respectively, making them relatively early products in the 'METAL ROBOT Damashii' series. Unlike the METAL BUILD versions, which have recently made headlines with their significantly redesigned aesthetics, the METAL ROBOT Damashii versions are smaller in size and lower in price, while their overall design adheres more closely to the original source material.
・METAL ROBOT Damashii Strike Freedom Gundam (2018 Version)
・METAL ROBOT Damashii Destiny Gundam (2019 Version)
The newly announced [Re:Coordinate] versions will feature redesigned product color schemes and body markings based on the previous releases. For instance, the Destiny Gundam will have changes to multiple areas such as the head antenna and chest armor colors, and its entire body markings will be redesigned. Detailed product information will be revealed at a later date.
