SEGA PRIZE "Frieren ~I've Turned into a Vertical Roll~" Sitting Figure: A Hilarious Sculpt with a Helpless Expression!

SEGA PRIZE, a line of crane game prizes from Japanese game company SEGA, recently unveiled a new figure for its "Chokonose" sitting figure series. From "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," this new product, slated for release as a prize item in Spring 2025, is the "Frieren ~I've Turned into a Vertical Roll~" (フリーレン ~縦ロールになっちゃった~) figure!

During the second stage of the "First-Class Mage Exam" in "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," Frieren, who never tires of exploring dungeons, once again fell into a Mimic's trap as usual. After a strenuous struggle of pushing and pulling, she finally managed to escape the Mimic with Fern's help. Afterward, Fern asked, "How did you manage when you were trapped by the Mimic alone?" Frieren replied, "I used offensive magic to blast my way out from the inside." However, the consequence of doing so was messy hair. In the next scene, all toy enthusiasts could witness Frieren's hilarious appearance with vertical rolls.

This Frieren figure, sculpted for the Chokonose sitting series, perfectly recreates her super cute appearance with vertical rolls and a helpless expression. However, unlike her standing pose when opening the door in the anime, this figure depicts Frieren in a formal sitting posture with her hands on her knees. She exudes an aura of preparing to have Fern fix her hair while simultaneously listening to a lecture (lol). In addition to the meticulously crafted vertical rolls and expression, her white and gold-themed attire also features exquisite wrinkle sculpting and detailed rendering. This is definitely a toy that can be used to recreate amusing meme scenes! Pair it with the previous "Luminasta Frieren in Mimic" for even more fun~ Frieren is truly amazing.
