Tsume-Art, a Luxembourgish modeling brand renowned for producing high-quality statues based on Japanese anime and manga characters, has announced its latest product from "BLEACH" within its "BIJUtsu" collection series, which emphasizes artistic quality: the BIJUtsu - ZANPAKUTO COLLECTION "Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto" 1/4 scale full body statue! Limited to 600 pieces worldwide, it is expected to ship in Q2 2025, with a suggested retail price of 749 Euros.
Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto, founder of the Gotei 13 and its first Captain-Commander, is hailed as the "strongest Shinigami in the Soul Society" and considered a living embodiment of Soul Society's history. He wields the strongest and oldest fire-type Zanpakuto, "Ryujin Jakka," capable of overwhelming any battlefield with a single strike, both cool and powerful. This "Genryusai" statue by Tsume-Art stands approximately 54 cm tall and is crafted from Polystone and metal. It captures his imposing figure, holding his Zanpakuto in his right hand, enveloped in flames, reminiscent of his technique "Zanka no Tachi, West: Zanjitsu Gokui." From the scar on his forehead, his sharp gaze, his flowing white beard, and his tattered Shinigami attire, to his battle-hardened and scarred physique, every detail is meticulously sculpted.
In addition to the incredibly powerful main body of Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto, Tsume-Art has crafted the Zanpakuto from metal, further enhancing the realism of "Zanka no Tachi." The blade meticulously recreates the scorched-like patterns of "Zanka no Tachi, East: Kyokujitsujin," while the base features skulls summoned by "Zanka no Tachi, South: Kakaen Jūmanokushi Daisōjin," along with carvings on the base that evoke the intense heat of Zanka no Tachi, fully showcasing the battle prowess of the Soul Society's strongest Shinigami.
▼ The display base also features an LED lighting function, making it even more imposing when illuminated.
▼ Pre-ordering on the Tsume-Art official website also offered an exclusive bonus interchangeable head sculpt (however, this Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto statue is currently sold out on the Tsume-Art official website; Taiwanese collectors may need to search for other retailers).
