The Hong Kong toy brand Storm Collectibles, known for creating action figures based on fighting video games, anime, and manga, recently announced its latest product from the anime "Baki Hanma": the "Doppo Orochi" (おろち どっぽ) action figure! It is expected to ship in Q2 2025, with a suggested retail price of US$93.
Doppo Orochi is the founder of Orochi-ryu Karate and the "Shinshinkai" karate organization. He is a man capable of single-handedly killing a Siberian tiger and commanding millions of disciples, earning him titles such as "Martial God" and "Tiger Killer" (虎殺し). In a battle with Yujiro Hanma, he lost his right eye and was on the verge of death, only to be saved by Kureha Shinogi at the last moment.
This articulated figure of Doppo Orochi by Storm Collectibles is crafted in 1/12 scale, faithfully recreating the Martial God's appearance in his white karate gi. It comes with four interchangeable head sculpts: normal, grinning, gritting teeth, and roaring. Each head sculpt boasts excellent fidelity. Combined with Storm Collectibles' consistently outstanding articulation, collectors can pose him in a wide variety of combat stances! Naturally, this includes his iconic defensive stance, Sanchin.
▼ After removing the fabric karate gi, in addition to his incredibly muscular physique, there's also that super eye-catching underwear!
