The "Pokémon PLAMO" model kit series, launched by the HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has announced its latest product, "Pokémon PLAMO Collection 58 Select Series Armarouge," scheduled for release in May 2025.
The Fire/Psychic-type Pokémon, Armarouge, is the evolved form of Charcadet after coming into contact with the "Auspicious Armor." In contrast to Ceruledge, which evolves using the grudge-filled item "Malicious Armor" and stops at nothing to achieve victory, Armarouge's Auspicious Armor was once worn by warriors who achieved numerous feats. Therefore, Armarouge will always face any formidable opponent head-on.
▼ The new work from the official Pokémon short animation "POKÉTOON," "Charcadet's Childhood Friend," tells the story of two Charcadet who grew up together but suddenly disappeared one day. During their journey, they evolved into Armarouge and Ceruledge, respectively, ultimately engaging in a fated showdown as if by destiny. This emotional and passionate narrative, condensed into 17 minutes, was highly acclaimed upon its release.
The "Pokémon PLAMO Collection 58 Select Series Armarouge" utilizes multi-color molded parts and stickers to faithfully recreate its in-game appearance. Notably, the flame design on its head uses red and yellow molded parts to achieve a gradient effect. The neck and limbs feature simple movable joint designs for posing, and it even includes interchangeable left and right shoulder armor parts to recreate the pose of unleashing its "Armor Cannon" move!
