The HOBBY Division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, which issues the original plastic model kit series '30MINUTES MISSIONS' known for its easy assembly and free customization, has announced new products for the Byron Army faction: "bEXM-6 Round Nova I" and "bEXM-6 Round Nova II", scheduled for release in April and May 2025, respectively.
Designed by mechanical designer Kanetake Ebikawa, the bEXM-6 Round Nova shares a similar status with the previously announced Earth Alliance Army machine eEXM-9 Basquirot. It is an older EXAMACS model utilized by the Byron Army before the deployment of the bEXM-15 Portanova, excelling in planetary reconnaissance missions. This announcement introduces the "Round Nova I" for jungle environments and the "Round Nova II" for snow mountain terrains.
The "30MM 1/144 bEXM-6 Round Nova I" utilizes new parts to faithfully recreate its distinctive dome-shaped head, boot-like leg design, three backpack parts suspended on the chest, triple missile launchers mounted on both sides of the backpack, and a new Roy-Roy unit suspended at the rear of the waist. Although the Round Nova has a somewhat short and stout physique, it features the same flexible articulation design as other machines in the series, allowing for dynamic posing with handheld armaments such as the "Electric Rifle" and "Shield".
The main body parts of the "30MM 1/144 bEXM-6 Round Nova II" are almost identical to the Round Nova I, but the armor color has been changed to white for camouflage in snowy environments, and a communication antenna has been added to the head. Instead of backpack-mounted missile launchers, it is equipped with a pair of ski components for gliding on snow, allowing it to be posed in mid-ski combat stances with its pulse rifle.
