The original plastic model kit series 『30MINUTES MISSIONS』, released by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division and known for its easy assembly and free customization, has announced its latest collaborative product with 《Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon》, the 「Weapon Set 05」, scheduled for release in June 2025.
《Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon》 is the latest installment in the 《Armored Core》 series, developed by FromSoftware after a decade-long hiatus. The story is set on the remote planet "Rubicon 3", where humanity discovered a mysterious new substance called "Coral". Believed to be a new energy source capable of dramatically advancing technology, it instead brought about a catastrophic disaster that engulfed the entire star system. Nearly a century later, the terrifying "Coral" has become a target of contention for extraterrestrial corporations and resistance groups. Players will once again assume the role of "Raven", a mercenary piloting a robot, to infiltrate Rubicon and delve deeper into the heart of this conflict.
The 「Weapon Set 05」 allows for customization of separately sold 30MM 《Armored Core VI》 series units through a common connection standard. This fifth installment includes the pulse blade "HI-32: BU-TT/A" and the pulse shield "SI-24: SU-Q5", both known for their strength and cool factor in the early game. Each can be equipped with effect parts to recreate their pulse deployment state. Also included are one set each of the assault rifle "RF-024 TURNER" and the vertical missile launcher "BML-G1/P07VTC-12".
