The "SQUARE ENIX MASTERLINE" series, a collection of Polystone statues based on SQUARE ENIX's IPs, jointly launched by SQUARE ENIX Co., Ltd. of Japan and the renowned statue brand Prime 1 Studio, has announced its latest product from "FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH," the "Cloud Strife 1/4 Scale Statue," slated for release in December 2025. This product will be simultaneously released in a Standard Edition and a more luxurious DX Edition with additional accessories.
The protagonist of "FINAL FANTASY VII," "Cloud Strife," claims to be a 1st Class SOLDIER from the elite Shinra unit, wielding the colossal "Buster Sword" and demonstrating superhuman combat abilities. At the beginning of the story, he is hired by the anti-Shinra organization "Avalanche" and participates in multiple Mako Reactor bombing operations. Through interactions with companions like Tifa, Aerith, and Barret, Cloud's initially aloof demeanor gradually gives way to a sense of responsibility, while his fragmented memories and the true meaning of the "Buster Sword" begin to resurface.
The "Cloud Strife 1/4 Scale Statue" is crafted at an impressive height of approximately 68 cm, capturing Cloud's battle-ready pose as he shoulders the Buster Sword and lowers his stance. Based on the in-game 3D model, intricate details are meticulously sculpted, including the distinctive Chocobo head, the fabric textures and wrinkles of his attire, and the scratches and rust marks on his metal armaments. Realistic paintwork further enhances these details, recreating his Mako-green eyes, metallic textures, and rust spots.
The Standard Edition accessories include five colored Materia (Magic, Support, Command, Summon, and Independent), allowing collectors to freely choose two to insert into the Buster Sword's slots. The more luxurious DX Edition additionally includes the highly popular "Crystal Sword," different arm poses, and hand parts. These can be combined to create various sword-wielding styles, such as holding the sword with one hand, two hands, or drawing it from his back!
