BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., officially announced today the brand new Shokugan product series themed after "Mobile Suit Gundam", 'GUNDAM SUPERIOR DIFAIN'. Prototypes were displayed at the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE FINAL in TOKYO" venue. Pre-orders for the product will open on March 19, 2025, with an expected release in Summer 2025.
The 'GUNDAM SUPERIOR DIFAIN' series is a "Gundam" Shokugan product presented in SD proportions, showcasing the intricate details of Mobile Suits at an approximate height of 38mm. This product also adopts the same model as 'GUNDAM ARTIFACT', where the non-articulated model body parts are molded in an earthy yellow, synthetic resin-like color, creating a texture reminiscent of GK (Garage Kit) models, allowing players to fully enjoy painting and coloring.
The first wave of products will feature five Mobile Suits: "Wing Gundam Zero EW", "Musha Zeta Gundam Kirinji Special", "High Mobility Z'Gok", "God Gundam", and "Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort]". Each product will also include one randomly selected sticker from 12 different illustrations. Detailed product information will be announced at a later date.
