Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS has announced on its official social media accounts that its popular die-cast toy series "Chogokin" will release a new product themed after "Back to the Future Part III" – the "Time Train" – to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the classic film series "Back to the Future"!
The story of "Back to the Future Part III" continues from the second film, recounting Marty's journey to save the Doctor, who was accidentally sent to the past and is in mortal danger. Marty once again enlists the help of the 1955 Doctor to send himself to 1885, where he confronts the local bully "Mad Dog" Tannen. At the end of the film, as Marty laments the Doctor's failure to return to the present with the DeLorean time machine, the Doctor suddenly appears before Marty and Jennifer, driving a steam-powered Time Train. After introducing his wife and two children, he embarks on a new journey through time and space.
The current post only reveals a few product images, which show its appearance faithfully recreated from the film. According to the text information, the product's total length will reach an astonishing 52 centimeters! The official announcement also states that more product images will be unveiled first on Japan's Friday movie program "Kin'yō Roadshow," with official product information to be released in March.
