While we'll have to wait until October 2025 for "SPY×FAMILY" Season 3 to finally hit our screens again, loyal manga readers who've been diligently following the series will undoubtedly have a strong reaction to the recently unveiled Vol. 15 cover. Especially with author Tatsuya Endo's thoughtful hint on X (formerly Twitter), it might just bring a tear to your eye—that is, if you, like us, couldn't help but well up during "that" particular arc.
Recently, Tatsuya Endo posted the cover art he drew for "SPY×FAMILY" Vol. 15 on his X account. In the tweet, he mentioned: "The Vol. 15 cover is out! The character featured is Martha. It was conceived alongside the previous volume's cover, so the composition maintains a consistent chair choice. (Though I initially thought of the Swan Chair, I prioritized material and went with this one instead.) Personally, I envisioned Vol. 15 being placed on the left."

▼Here's how the two manga covers look when placed together!
▼Following Tatsuya Endo's vision, it transforms into a poignant "tea party." And yes, that tea party is a subtle, meaningful Easter egg for those who've read the manga.
On the "SPY×FAMILY" Vol. 15 cover, Martha is seated in Hans J. Wegner's "The Peacock Chair," while the cover featuring Henry Henderson has him in Frank Lloyd Wright's "Robie Chair."

For regular manga readers, the reason why Tatsuya Endo-sensei specifically designed the covers for Henry Henderson and Martha Marriott to be placed side-by-side is crystal clear.
This emotional connection stems from the "Henry and Martha's Memories Arc," which began around Chapter 97 in April 2024. The arc reveals that the two met and fell in love as students at Eden Academy. However, due to the backdrop of war, Martha Marriott, who once dreamed of ballet, chose to join the military, while Henry Henderson became a teacher, driven by his educational ideals. Yet, under the harsh realities of war and the cruelties of their era, the two were ultimately destined to remain apart.

Perhaps to echo Henry and Martha's poignant backstory, Endo-sensei decided to design these two character covers together. In a way, it allows the fated-to-be-apart duo to finally sit side-by-side, or perhaps even share a tea party, on the covers!
