World-renowned Hong Kong toy company Hot Toys announced today (the 7th) its latest product from the 1997 DC superhero film "Batman & Robin": the Mr. Freeze 1/6th scale collectible figure! Both the Regular Version and Deluxe Version will be released simultaneously, and this article will provide information on the Deluxe Version.
Following Batman and Robin, it's finally time for the 1/6th scale figure of Mr. Freeze, portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger back then! The '97 version of Mr. Freeze's design remains quite magnificent even by modern standards. This figure stands approximately 33.5 cm tall, not only fully recreating his imposing physique from the film but also exquisitely capturing and presenting his cryogenic suit. This includes the electroplated metallic silver paint application, the complex and exaggerated multi-layered armor, the backpack, and tubing behind him – it's truly captivating.
The head sculpt showcases his pale blue skin and Arnold Schwarzenegger's facial contours from that era. In addition to featuring articulated eyeballs, he can also wear his specially designed goggles and helmet. Coupled with the bright blue LED light-up functions located on the helmet, chest armor, and limb armor, the overall visual presentation is truly outstanding! Once Mr. Freeze's signature weapon, the "Freeze Gun," and the ice beam effect are attached, the whole look is incredibly cool!
In addition to all the contents of the Regular Version, the Deluxe Version also includes an exclusive, newly developed silver glider and a diorama base infused with icicle elements, making your Mr. Freeze display even more imposing!
