Virtual diva Hatsune Miku, now celebrating her 17th anniversary, continues to drop a steady stream of collaborations, proving her undeniable charm and the unwavering devotion of her fanbase.
Today (March 9th) marks "Hatsune Day," and the official announcement for the previously teased "Gundam 45th Anniversary x Hatsune Miku" project has dropped! They've unveiled the music video for the collaboration track, "Idol Senshi" (アイドル戦士), ensuring this epic crossover keeps its momentum going strong.

The official reveal for this brand-new collaboration track landed on March 9th, also known as "Zaku x Miku Day" (ザク×ミクの日)! This epic team-up features a song crafted by none other than renowned VOCALOID music producer Mitchie M, who infused it with J-Pop and electronic dance music vibes to create an incredibly rhythmic and dynamic piece.
Inspired by the classic Mobile Suit Gundam track "Soldiers of Sorrow" (哀戦士), the core concept of "Hatsune Miku singing on the idol battlefield" drives this song. Its lyrics and melody burst with passion and futuristic flair, packed with clever homages to iconic Gundam series tunes. The result? A track that perfectly blends Miku's vibrant energy with Gundam's legendary intensity. The MV, directed and produced by Yuma Saito, features special collaborative illustrations from multiple artists, showcasing the unique appeal of this joint venture.
