Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize figure brand BANPRESTO has announced its latest product from the popular anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End": "Frieren - Smug Ver.", scheduled for release in September 2025.
The Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" (葬送のフリーレン), originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of the elven mage Frieren, who, along with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter, returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she regrets not having truly understood others, and embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The BANPRESTO prize figure "Frieren - Smug Ver." brings to life Frieren's cute and confident appearance with her hands on her hips! Her winter attire worn when traveling to the Northern Lands and her distinctive blue scarf give off a charmingly naive aura; her twin tails naturally flow, adding a sense of dynamism, and the gradient transparency at the ends of her hair makes the overall look lighter and more elegant. Coupled with her adorable smiling face, it seems the old lady is quite robust!
