The classic manga series Hell Teacher Nube, originally written by Sho Makura and illustrated by Takeshi Okano, is undoubtedly a nostalgic favorite for many fans. Its unique blend of horror and humor has captivated audiences for decades.
Last year, as the series celebrated its 31st anniversary, it was announced in July that a new anime adaptation was in the works, bringing this beloved classic back for the Reiwa era. Today (March 23) at AnimeJapan 2025, the official team unveiled a fresh wave of voice cast members and dropped the bombshell that a brand-new manga serialization is on the horizon.

Following the main cast reveal in late February, this latest announcement introduces more classmates from Class 5-3, including:
Akira Yamaguchi: Natsumi Fujiwara
Shuichi Shirato: Ayahi Takagaki
Noriko Nakajima: Nao Toyama
Shizuka Kikuchi: Yui Makino
Masaru Kaneda: Shoshi Inoyama

The previously announced voice cast includes:
Hiroshi Tateno: Ryoko Shiraishi
Kyoko Inaba: Aya Suzaki
Miki Hosokawa: Tomoyo Kurosawa
Katsuya Kimura: Ryota Iwasaki
Makoto Kurita: Shiho Kokido
Ritsuko Takahashi: Aya Endo
Yukime: Ai Kakuma
Kyosuke Tamamo: Toshiyuki Morikawa

But wait, there's more! Beyond the anime news, a brand-new manga series, Hell Teacher Nube Kai, is set to launch in the June issue of Saikyo Jump. This marks the third sequel, following 'Hell Teacher Nube NEO' and 'Hell Teacher Nube S'. Sho Makura is once again handling the original story, with Takeshi Okano on art. The plot sees Class 5-3 students Hiroshi Tateno, Kyoko, and others dragged into a world of supernatural tales, with Nube having to travel through time to rescue them!
Given that the original series debuted decades ago, this anime revival is definitely cause for celebration among fans. With its July 2025 premiere locked in, fans should keep an eye out for more official updates and get ready to see what surprises this 'Nube-naissance' brings!
