Fans have been waiting with bated breath, and the epic news finally dropped yesterday (March 23) at AnimeJapan 2025: Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga Chainsaw Man's first-ever theatrical anime, "Chainsaw Man Reze Arc," is officially hitting theaters on September 19, 2025!
We've previously showcased Japanese Coser Mayuron's incredible take on Reze, and now we're shining a spotlight on another popular Japanese coser, Layla (@mishirudo). She also tackled the fan-favorite Reze, captivating audiences at AnimeJapan 2025 with her slender and graceful figure that perfectly embodied the character's charm. Her stunning portrayal quickly went viral among fans and netizens alike.
Reze is the mysterious girl Denji meets in the rain. She takes him on an impromptu school adventure, stealing his heart and even inspiring a plan for them to elope during a fireworks festival.
Her true identity, however, is the Bomb Devil, "Bomu," who can transform her head into a torpedo by pulling a pin on her neck collar. Despite appearing for only about a dozen chapters in the first Public Safety Arc, Reze left an unforgettable impression on countless fans. Even Denji himself famously declared, "Reze stole my heart; perhaps I'll never know joy or sorrow again..."
Layla, who works as a model, boasts a naturally slender physique and striking good looks. Her love for anime led her into cosplay, and Reze quickly became one of her absolute favorite characters. Her Reze cosplay first exploded on X last November, racking up over 110,000 likes!
She even perfectly recreated the iconic pool scene from the series!
For AnimeJapan 2025, Layla donned Reze's signature sleeveless outfit, once again drawing countless cameras and admirers at the venue.
