Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS has officially unveiled a new product from its "S.H.MonsterArts" series, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology. The new item is an articulated figure of "Godzilla (2000)" themed after the movie "Godzilla vs. Megaguirus," with a suggested retail price of 12,100 JPY, scheduled for release in September 2025!

The story of "Godzilla vs. Megaguirus" recounts that in 2001, the Japanese government established the Special G-Force Headquarters, deciding to implement "Operation G Annihilation" to draw Godzilla into a miniature artificial black hole. During the experiment, prehistoric insects called Meganula unexpectedly passed through the portal into the modern era, eventually transforming into the much more powerful Megaguirus, leading to a three-way battle with the G-Force and Godzilla!

This S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2000) stands approximately 16 cm tall. Once again, popular sculptor Yuji Sakai is responsible for the prototype design, coloring, and sculpting supervision, delicately capturing the Millennium Godzilla's more slender and sharp lines. Its sharp gaze and rough skin texture are meticulously reproduced. This version's iconic fierce purple dorsal fins and gaping maw are realistically recreated with paintwork, and its flexible articulation allows for recreating its dynamic poses from the film when battling Megaguirus!
