Hi-Fi earphone brand Acoustune's sub-brand, ANIMA, has previously teamed up with massively popular anime series like "Bocchi the Rock!" and "BanG Dream! It's MyGO!!!!! / Ave Mujica," along with the mobile game "Blue Archive," sparking a buying frenzy among fans.
Now, they've announced another collaboration with the Toei Animation original anime, "Girls Band Cry," this time focusing on the in-show rival band, "Diamond Dust." These new true wireless Bluetooth earbuds are priced at 20,000 JPY and are available for order now on the ONKYO official website.
"Diamond Dust" (ダイヤモンドダスト) is the band that Momoka Kawaragii, a member of "TOGENASHI TOGEARI," originally belonged to. It started as a school band with her high school classmates, later going indie and signing with a record label. Before their major debut, Momoka, dissatisfied with the band's shift to a more mainstream style, left despite pleas from other members. The band then found a new vocalist, "Hina," and proceeded with their major debut.
In terms of design, the earbuds themselves are primarily white, with each earbud featuring the band's representative small emblem—a diamond ear ornament and a totem. The charging case proudly displays the band's name, "DIAMOND DUST," along with its distinctive artwork.
These earbuds utilize the ANIMA AOW01 model, originally crafted for listening to anime music, and remain one of the brand's best-selling products.
And of course, no collaboration would be complete without custom voice prompts! Users can enjoy greetings and companionship from Hina, voiced by Reina Kondo, as they listen to their favorite tunes.
What's more, the official ANIMA app, "ANIMA STUDIO," allows users to purchase and download voice packs for other "Diamond Dust" members, including Nana (CV: Misato Matsuoka), Rin (CV: Yuuki Urushiyama), and Ai (CV: Momoko Miyashiro).
For those who missed out, the previously released "TOGENASHI TOGEARI" collaboration earbuds are also back on sale, now with the added option to download voice packs for their other members via the app.
