McDonald's Japan Character "Samuraitamago Tabemi" Drops Dance Video, Official Account Asks Fans to "Create Within Good Taste!"

McDonald's Japan has been going wild with its online social media campaigns lately! They previously dropped a promo song video for their "Cream Croquette Burger" featuring hololive's Sakura Miko, and an ad for "Shaka Shaka Potato" (Shake Shake Fries) starring VOCALOID diva Hatsune Miku. Their out-of-the-box antics are getting wilder by the day.

Today (March 28), to promote the long-awaited return of the "Samurai Mac" series, McDonald's Japan brought back the wildly popular character Imadake Dabuchi Tabemi, who's now transformed into "Samuraitamago Tabemi"! They also dropped a new promotional dance video, once again showcasing her bizarre moves and cracking up netizens.

Samuraitamago Tabemi is the promotional character for the limited-time "Samurai Mac." With her nearly identical look to the previous "Imadake Dabuchi Tabemi" and the name "Samurai Tamago Tabemi," many fans are thrilled she's finally back!

Her new character design features a mini skirt, geta sandals, a samurai sword, and a knee bandage. The released visuals show Tabemi rocking a mini skirt, geta (traditional Japanese wooden clogs), loose "delinquent-style" Japanese socks, a samurai sword strapped to her back, and a bandage on her knee. It's a truly unique style, seemingly blending "samurai spirit" with "gyaru culture"!

Netizens are absolutely hyped about her return, with many begging for her to become a permanent character because they love the design so much!

While it's technically a re-use, many fans felt it was a shame for the character to appear only once, so her return after several months is a huge win.

As a promotional character, "Samuraitamago Tabemi" is seriously busting out some moves to introduce the new Samurai Mac!

Amidst the fervent fan discussions, the official account, speaking as "Samuraitamago Tabemi," posted a reminder: "I'm so happy you all want to draw me! But please be polite and create within the bounds of good taste!" This move seems to be a playful way to prevent overly explicit fan art (lol), suggesting McDonald's Japan is serious about developing this character.

It's clear that McDonald's Japan's creative flair is getting a lot of love; their unexpected, wild ideas just keep coming, and their campaigns are getting more impressive... Looks like McDonald's Japan really knows how to have fun now, huh?
