The alloy action figure series "METAL Series", developed by the emerging Hong Kong toy brand POSE+ team, announced the latest product "ChoRyuJin" from the anime "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar", scheduled for release in November 2025.
ChoRyuJin is the combined form achieved when the twin Brave Robots Hyoryu and Enryu, members of the "GGG Mobile Unit", achieve a mental synchronization rate of 90% or higher and perform "Symmetrical Docking". He possesses performance comparable to GaoGaiGar, integrating the personalities and abilities of both Hyoryu and Enryu. He can simultaneously fire high-temperature and low-temperature energy projectiles from the cannons mounted on his arms and sides of his waist. Furthermore, he can equip the specialized Million-Ton Tool "Eraser Head" to neutralize energy generated by explosions or force fields, using it for disaster relief or to assist GaoGaiGar in combat.
The "POSE+METAL ChoRyuJin" product includes two figures, Hyoryu and Enryu, each approximately 20 cm tall. Their designs are reinterpreted based on the original settings, giving the armor a sense of heft and rich detailing. They also feature a complete transformation mechanism, allowing them to transform from robot mode into crane/fire truck mode. The crane arm and ladder on the vehicle body have rotating and telescoping mechanisms, reaching a maximum length of 35 cm.
In robot mode, Hyoryu and Enryu also feature highly flexible articulated joint designs. They can equip gauntlets and shields on their wrists to recreate various martial arts poses, or be paired with a rich array of shooting armaments such as the Freezing Rifle, Freezing Pistol, Melting Rifle, and Melting Pistol. The chest armor also features an unfolding mechanism to recreate the poses for their special moves, "Freezing Breath" and "Melting Breath". Additionally, the model includes original shoulder armor, which, when combined with the Mirror Shield, forms the Full Armament Mode.
Through some of POSE+'s original transformation and combination mechanisms, Hyoryu and Enryu can fully transform and combine into "ChoRyuJin", standing approximately 25 cm tall, without any leftover parts. The waist is formed from Hyoryu and Enryu's original thighs, utilizing a four-axis hydraulic rod linkage mechanism to create a strong waist. The entire body features numerous ratchet joints, allowing for dynamic poses with heavy parts, such as high kicks, and the feet offer excellent ground contact.
Regarding weaponry, the crane arm and ladder components can be equipped on the arms for use as bludgeons, or deployed from the waist to recreate shooting mode. Furthermore, the Mirror Shield can be attached to the front of the fully extended crane arm and ladder to recreate the defensive form seen in episode 16 of the anime. Additionally, accessories include hand parts that can interlock with the separately sold "POSE+METAL GaoGaiGar" to recreate the classic handshake scene from the Brave Series anime.
