To welcome the Star Wars Celebration, which will commence in mid-April 2025 in Chiba, Japan, Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently unveiled a very interesting new product: the 1/6 scale "Stormtrooper (Cherry Blossom Version)" collectible figure! It is expected to be sold at the Star Wars Celebration venue and designated channels.
The Galactic Empire's most iconic trooper is now infused with the pride of the Japanese Yamato people! The white-themed armor and helmet are adorned with abundant pink cherry blossoms, which can be described not only as a harmonious blend of East and West but also carry a romantic aura reminiscent of a cherry blossom blizzard. In what Hot Toys calls the Star Wars Celebration Exclusive version, in addition to an extra black haori with a cherry blossom pattern, there is also a commemorative backdrop designed with the Star Wars Celebration as its theme. Upon closer inspection, one can discover that the backdrop pays homage to the Hinomaru (Japanese flag) by depicting the Empire's deadly weapon, the Death Star, and the full-page print is also incredibly beautiful.
