Just this past April Fool's Day, the Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid franchise, gearing up for its first-ever theatrical film, "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: The Dragon Who Fears Loneliness" (tentative title, 小林さんちのメイドラゴン さみしがりやの竜), pulled off an epic prank: "Sachiko Kobayashi's Dragon Maid," sending fans into a laughing fit.
But hold on to your scales! Just one day later, on April 2nd, the official announcement dropped: none other than the legendary Sachiko Kobayashi herself will be performing the ending theme song for the movie! What started as a hilarious April Fool's gag has now officially become reality!

The official April Fool's Day visual for "Sachiko Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" (小林さちこのメイドラゴン) released on April 1st.

Sachiko Kobayashi's ending theme, "Bokutachi no Hibi" (Our Days), is described as a warm and powerful song centered around the theme of "love." She shared her thoughts on the track's message: "The encounters between people are miracles in themselves. Sometimes, even with communication, misunderstandings can arise, but what's important is our willingness to try and understand, to draw closer to one another."
She further emphasized, "This song conveys that 'every single day we live is a miracle worth cherishing.' I hope everyone gets to experience this moving song firsthand in theaters!"
