BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced the latest product from their popular Shokugan series "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA": the "ν Gundam (LFF&HMBL Equipment)", originating from the mobile game "Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. ENGAGE", is scheduled for release in August 2025. This product will be sold exclusively on Bandai's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The ν Gundam (LFF&HMBL Equipment) is an original form that appears in the "CROSSOVER UCE Axis Chapter II" original story arc of "Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. ENGAGE". The ν Gundam's main body is set to be the same as the "Char's Counterattack" version, a prototype mobile suit equipped with a "Psycho-Frame" and exclusively piloted by Newtype ace Amuro Ray. However, instead of the original "Fin Funnels" on its back, it is equipped with the "Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher" from the novel "Beltorchika's Children's" Hi-ν Gundam, and the "Long-Range Fin Funnel", an original armament from the real-life Fukuoka life-sized "RX-93ff ν Gundam" statue.
The "G-FRAME FA ν Gundam (LFF&HMBL Equipment)" is a modified version based on the previously released "RX-93ff ν Gundam". It features a complete movable frame design and rich detailed sculpting. Both the main body and the Long-Range Fin Funnel have been updated to the color scheme set in the game, allowing for various dynamic poses. It also comes with a dedicated display stand featuring an embossed "Amuro's personal emblem" design.
For armaments, it includes the standard equipment from the original work: "Beam Rifle", "Beam Saber", "Hyper Bazooka", and "Shield", as well as the two featured large weapons: "Long-Range Fin Funnel" and "Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher". The "Long-Range Fin Funnel" can recreate its deployed firing state by swapping parts, or be equipped with effect parts to simulate a large beam saber.
The "Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher", on the other hand, utilizes newly sculpted parts to recreate the same design style as the "Long-Range Fin Funnel" from the game, featuring a conical barrel end, high-density details, and a massive size. Both large weapons can be equipped on the wrists, allowing for the recreation of in-game battle scenes.
