Released by Bandai Toy Company's GASHAPON division in Japan, the "HG" collectible series, which injects intricate sculpting and exquisite coloring into miniature sizes, will launch a new Ultraman-themed Gashapon series in the fourth week of this April: "To the Land of Light!! Towards a Victory for Peace" (tentative translation, ウルトラの星へ!! 平和への勝利)! The suggested retail price is 500 Japanese Yen per capsule, with a total of four designs to collect.
The title of this work comes from "ウルトラの星へ!! 平和への勝利," the final episode of "The★Ultraman," the first TV anime in the Ultraman series, which premiered in 1979. This collection features Ultraman Jonias (ウルトラマンジョーニアス) to commemorate the 45th anniversary of "The★Ultraman," the Execution Monster Magdatar (マクダター) which appeared in the final episode, the Tsuruk Alien (ツルク星人) from "Ultraman Leo," known as the "Strange Alien," and the wild warrior "Ultraman Blazar."
Both Ultraman warriors faithfully recreate their respective design features, including Jonias's green star emblem and Blazar's asymmetrical red and blue lines on his body and his low-stance battle-ready pose. Both monsters also feature finely sculpted body textures.
