The Gunpla "HG (High Grade)" series, released by the HOBBY Division of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. of Japan, which boasts the most complete range of mobile suits and faithfully recreates their anime appearances, has announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam AGE", the "Genoace O Custom", scheduled for release in July 2025.
Appearing in the A.G. 150s (Kio Arc), the RGE-B893CO Genoace O Custom is a mobile suit modified from the Earth Federation Forces mass-production unit "Genoace II" from the A.G. 140s (Asemu Arc), and was the dedicated machine of Earth Federation Forces Lieutenant Olbright Loren, who was 50 years old at the time. This machine utilized the latest contemporary technology to enhance its sensors and thrust, and was equipped with its dedicated "Dods Rifle". Combined with Olbright's own excellent piloting skills, this machine possessed performance comparable to contemporary cutting-edge mobile suits.
The "HG 1/144 Genoace O Custom" kit is based on the "HG Genoace II" released in 2011, and uses new parts to recreate the distinct head, shoulders, backpack, Dods Rifle, and other features. The mobile suit's color scheme is reproduced with blue and white molded parts. The sensors on both sides of the head are rendered with clear parts, and the shoulders and backpack also feature modern-level color separation. Armaments include the Dods Rifle, beam saber, and shield, and can be posed in more dynamic stances with the newly included left and right open-hand parts.
