Japan's SEGA game company's SEGA Prize brand, known for its "FIGURIZMα" series which emphasizes expression, sculpting, and color, today (08) unveiled a new product on its official X account based on the popular anime and manga "Dandadan" – the "Okarun Key Visual Ver."!
The male protagonist, Ken Takakura, due to a bet with Momo, ventured alone into a famous haunted tunnel. Unexpectedly, he was cursed by the yokai "Turbo Granny" hidden within the tunnel, who stole his testicles. After successfully repelling Granny, he made a deal with her, allowing him to continue using her abilities. Momo, displeased that Takakura shared a name with her favorite idol and because Takakura liked occult things, always called him "Okarun."
This FIGURIZMα Okarun adopts the airborne pose from his key visual released for the first season of the anime, recreating his transformed state with the tooth mask removed. The sculpting delicately showcases the wrinkles and sharp edges of his uniform, while the musculature of his arms and legs is also exquisitely reproduced. The deep red gradient of his coat hem is also faithfully painted! It is believed that by using a wide-angle lens, the effect presented in the key visual can be perfectly recreated!
