As Star Wars Celebration is set to commence in Chiba, Japan, in mid-April, various toy companies have successively launched Star Wars-themed toys and merchandise. Japanese toy brand T-ARTS, under TAKARA TOMY Company, in addition to their ambitious Dejarik Holochess, also presents the vehicle-type capsule toy from their HOBBY GACHA series, "Star Wars Jedi Interceptor"! Scheduled for release in May 2025, with a suggested retail price of 500 JPY per capsule, there are a total of six styles to collect.
This "Jedi Interceptor," produced at a 1/64 scale based on the film settings of "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith," boasts an impressive total length of 9.7 centimeters. It not only features exquisite color and sculpt detailing, but also utilizes transparent materials for the cockpit canopy and thruster jet effects. Furthermore, the cockpit canopy can be opened to reveal the miniature figures of Jedi Knights Anakin and Obi-Wan inside, fully conveying the luxurious specifications unique to the HOBBY GACHA series. Displaying it with the included transparent stand is excellent, ensuring abundant enjoyment even if you only get one capsule.
