Reddit User Claims Pokémon Incineroar Deck Blocked a Bullet, Declares: "Pokémon Saved My Life!"

The Pokémon Trading Card Game (PTCG), launched by The Pokémon Company, boasts a massive global following, with players worldwide diving into the world of Pokémon TCG. The recent launch of the mobile game "Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket" (PTCGP) has only fueled this craze even further.

Recently, a Reddit user named LolaInSlacks88 shared an astonishing story on the Pokémon TCG subreddit, claiming "Pokémon Saved My Life." The incredible tale quickly went viral, leaving countless netizens in awe.

The user recounted waking up one Sunday to a series of loud bangs. Living in a rural area, these sounds usually meant their neighbor was out hunting, despite having no protective berms or bullet-stopping barriers.

Initially thinking something had fallen in their closet, they soon discovered a gaping hole in the wall. The bullet's trajectory led straight to a plastic storage box filled with Pokémon cards. Turns out, their "idiot neighbor" had fired a shot that ripped through their home, only to be stopped dead by an "Incineroar" themed deck. The 9mm bullet was perfectly lodged in the card box. Had the deck not been there, given the bullet's height, they likely would have been hit while sleeping.

The user added, "My local card shop owner is super cool and hooked me up with a new theme deck, and I'm totally fine. But from now on, Incineroar is my guardian Pokémon. I never thought a bunch of cardboard cards would actually save my life one day! You never know when they'll transform into life-saving gear!"

Naturally, some users wondered if the police were involved. LolaInSlacks88 revealed in the comments that they reported the incident shortly after, and the police arrived to investigate. "Of course, no one admitted to doing it. But they're no longer using their land as a shooting range, so hopefully, they learned their lesson," they added, also noting, "It was still terrifying; I didn't sleep in my room for days afterward."

Many users were stunned by this miraculous event, never imagining that Pokémon cards could actually save a life. It truly is amazing how they protected their owner!

Of course, this situation is a direct result of legal gun ownership in the US. The user was incredibly lucky, and it just goes to show that Incineroar, often hailed as "Number One" by main series game players, truly lives up to its reputation!
