T-ARTS, a popular toy brand under Japan's TAKARA TOMY Company, is launching a new themed product in its popular vehicle-themed Gashapon series, HOBBY GACHA. This release, titled "HOBBY GACHA Fast & Furious 2: 2 Fast 2 Furious" Gashapon, will have a suggested retail price of 500 JPY per capsule and is scheduled for release in late April 2025!
This Gashapon series is themed after the second installment of the series, "Fast & Furious 2: 2 Fast 2 Furious," featuring two classic car models driven by Brian O'Conner, portrayed by the late actor Paul Walker, in the film: the Nissan SKYLINE GT-R and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. These are meticulously recreated as 1/64 scale models, with delicate reproduction of vehicle details. Transparent materials are used for the windows and headlights, and even the in-car nitrous oxide bottles are faithfully replicated. The SKYLINE GT-R's classic silver-blue and the Lancer Evo's bright green paintwork are both exquisitely reproduced! A total of four variations are available, including versions with flame and smoke effects, title lettering, and a clear blue display base, allowing collectors to showcase the charm of these two iconic car models in various ways!
