The 2025 Osaka World Expo, which officially kicked off on April 13, has been a massive draw, with its quirky mascot, "Myaku-Myaku," sparking a merchandise frenzy.
Recently, Japanese Gunpla builder and X user @itashanXD shared their latest creation: a custom build combining Bandai's recently released '1/144 RX-78F00/E Gundam (EX-001 Glass Feather Equipment)' model kit with elements of "Myaku-Myaku." The seamless integration of Myaku-Myaku's iconic look has earned widespread praise from netizens.

According to the builder, the idea popped into their head while staring blankly at the "Glass Feather" runners during assembly. They decided to infuse the "Myaku-Myaku" vibe into the equipment, aiming for a truly unique style.

And so, the painting began! The original colors of the "Glass Feather Equipment" were completely repainted to showcase Myaku-Myaku's signature red and blue, complete with its multiple eye motifs.

Even the builder themselves were blown away by the finished product! They never expected the "Glass Feather Equipment," "Beam Welding Gun (deployed/stored state)," and "Statue Version Replacement Backpack" to complement the Myaku-Myaku theme so perfectly. The signature red and blue paint job, accented with Myaku-Myaku's eyes strategically placed, truly delivered an outstanding effect.

Even with the "Glass Feather" wings folded back, the effect remains absolutely stunning!

Many netizens applauded the builder's creative mashup. After all, both are creations born from the Expo, making their combination incredibly fitting. Who knew it could look this good?

The '1/144 RX-78F00/E Gundam (EX-001 Glass Feather Equipment)' just hit shelves in Japan, and already someone's gone and customized it! If you've picked one up, why not unleash your inner artist and create your own fun, Expo-themed modifications?
